CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) is a practical, evidence-based approach that helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected—so you can make lasting, positive changes.
In CBT, the real change often happens between sessions—not just during our weekly time together. That’s why each session ends with a clear, practical plan tailored to you, so you can try out new skills, reflect on what’s working, and build steady progress week by week.
Together, we’ll track what’s changing—whether it’s how often something is happening, how intense it feels, or how confident you're becoming in handling it. You’ll start noticing not just fewer struggles, but more understanding, self-awareness, and growth.
When you're ready, we’ll talk about ending therapy—something that’s not a goodbye, but more like a handover. You'll leave with your own personalised 'toolbox' of strategies you’ve learned and practiced, ready to use whenever life calls for it.
I offer structured, focused support in blocks of 6 or 10 weekly sessions (each lasting 50 minutes). This format helps us stay committed and purposeful in our work together — giving you the space to gain the clarity, tools, and confidence you need to move forward.
I work with a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, but here are the areas I support most often:
Whatever you're facing, we’ll work together at your pace, in a way that feels safe, respectful, and tailored to you.
“You, and your cosy warm cabin, have provided me with a place I could share my innermost thoughts and feelings unjudged. Nothing I could say was too shocking or too outrageous. And because of that, I could say what I probably needed to say for 20 years and find an inner peace that I forgot I could feel”
